So, what can we do to protect our way of life? Simply, tell our story! To school children, to town folks, even to animal rights groups. People NEED to know that Animal Agriculture is needed for our growing nation to survive! Pets are needed for the animal lover's well being and sanity and pets need US to take care of them. It's apparent that the members of this organization never knew what it was like to have so many stray dogs and cats dumped at the corner! It is so important for people to know the truth. Tell them!!
Also, HSUS is sneaky with their fundraising due to their misleading tactics. Those commercials you see on television have made them their millions that they need to reach their goal of putting animal agriculture out of business. I do not support businesses and celebrities who support HSUS. Because, by supporting HSUS, they don't the farmers & ranchers & pet owners like Troy and me.
After Troy's video made it on YouTube and exposed HSUS's motives, YellowTail Wine actually withdrew their sponsorship! Other sponsors have also withdrawn their support! Here is a list of businesses and celebrities currently supporting HSUS:

I remember them talking about this at the YF&R, Thanks for the list of supporters, I won't be putting my hard earned money towards those companies anymore. I too couldn't imagine a world without my animals, pets or livestock!
ReplyDeleteOne thing that people need to learn about politics is that there really isn't a RIGHT answer. There are opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on everything political from the charities they feel like supporting financially, to the causes they activate for/against. After all, this is America. Just because your list of supporters love a charity or support a charity does not mean they are terrible people. They might know someone from that charity, family or friend, who they want to support. We no longer live in a black and white world.
